Our Story
Our story began some years ago, when we produced the first batch of candles in our kitchen. After buying candles from large retailers for a number of years and being disappointed with the quality of the scent and overall burn, we began to think about producing our very own.
We quickly realised that there was much more complexity to it that we had initially thought. Everything from the chosen wax to the fragrance used made a big difference to how well each candle performed, and what started as a hobby of ours is now very much an obsession to create the perfect candle paired with a stunning scent.

After much product testing, we were finally able to launch ‘The Apothecary Candle Company’. Our brand and reputation have since grown, and we now produce a large line of Soy Candles and Reed Diffusers, hand crafted in Pendle, Lancashire; with our guiding principle of sustainability.

A need for the extraordinary and an innate sense of adventure helped to inspire and develop our scents. Our candles are produced only using sustainably sourced soy wax, cotton wicks and the finest grade fragrance oils, all lab tested for their performance, paraben free, vegan and pet friendly.

As a result, we have created luxurious candles which not only burn cleanly, but they also diffuse our luxury scent into any room to provide you with the most wonderful candle burning experience.
